We invite you to explore more about the European Training Strategy competence model for trainers to work internationally, developed in the frame of the European Training Strategy (ETS) by SALTO Training and Cooperation Resource Centre and several international experts, focusing on international youth work settings and youth workers' competences.

Continue watching another video, which explains how to carry out self-assessment. It mostly refers to youth work competence self-assessment, yet it can be easily applied to trainers and our context.


Step 1. Choose one ETS competence area to start your self-assessment, for example, “Facilitating learning”. Download Worksheet 1 to carry out your self-assessment.

Reflect on your self-assessment process and results. Share your discoveries and struggles with other youth workers in the Activity Forum or with people around you. Upload results to get a badge for completing this activity.
